Artist's Description
Montauk Point Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse in New York State. The Lighthouse was authorized by the Second Congress, under President George Washington, in 1792. Construction began on June 7, 1796 and was completed on November 5, 1796. This National Historic Landmark has been part of Long Island's land and seascape for over 200 years and still serves as an active aid to navigation.
About Christy Gendalia
My name is Christy and I have two passions in life: Photography and Travel. I decided that since I enjoy both so much - I should combine the two and share my experiences with others...through the lens of my camera. At a young age, I studied Photography at SUNY Purchase in NY and used my knowledge to create a portfolio of pictures taken throughout my life. I have done quite a bit of portrait photography, some wedding photography and landscapes.
